MODULE 1: Introduction

MODULE 2: Goal Setting
Discover why activity-focused, SMART goals are the non-negotiable foundation of all outcome measurement. Master dual-framing goals so they satisfy NDIS progress reporting requirements while remaining simple, motivating, and meaningful for clients and families. Focus your clinical reasoning on high-value functional outcomes that reduce long-term dependency on external supports and demonstrate true funder value.
MODULE 3: Gathering Data
Establish objective baseline measurements before starting therapy using standardised tools, non-standardised quantifiable metrics, or Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS). Learn how to apply these measurement strategies to a range of clinical scenarios, including meal prep, sleep hygiene, and assistive technology prescriptions. All data collection is centred around real-world activity and participation under the ICF framework rather than isolated impairment measures.
MODULE 4: Capacity Building
Implement evidence-based, context-aware capacity building interventions while keeping sessions structured and goal-directed. Conduct regular, low-burden outcome check-ins so you can spot when an intervention isn't working and pivot early before funding is wasted. Begin drafting your progress report early during the therapy block to eliminate end-of-plan stress and ensure seamless data tracking.
MODULE 5: Reporting Outcomes
Structure succinct, high-impact progress reports using side-by-side results tables that funders can read at a glance. Is this course only for Occupational Therapists?

Is this just a report-writing course?
No! While Module 5 and Bonus 1 cover report writing, this course focuses on fixing the underlying therapy process. It teaches you how to gather baseline data, monitor outcomes during therapy, and structure goal-directed programs so you have bulletproof evidence before you sit down to write.
