From me you can access:
Webinar recording – I teamed up with Dave Jereb from MoveAbout Therapy Services to deliver a 2-hour discussion-based webinar on ‘Everything you need to know when starting your OT career.’ We cover whether hospital or community is a better place to start your career, what a ‘good’ billable KPI target is, and how you can find an employer who will deliver on their promises (plus much more).
Webinar recording – Another collab, this time with Bek Chatellier from the Supervisionary Partnership. In this ‘Ask me anything’ session we covered 90-minutes worth of hot tips for starting and sustaining your clinical OT sole trader business.
From my guest contributors you’ll find:

Video: When you don’t know the answer to your client’s question – This happens even to the most experienced OTs! The key is handling it in a way where our client doesn’t lose complete faith in our ability to help them. This video shows you how.
Video: When someone makes a complaint – Never a nice situation, but there are good and bad ways to handle it, and opportunities to improve our practice for next time.

NDIS OTs have had a rough run with the introduction of Section 33 changes and new funding periods, and now we face a nervous wait to see if the hourly rate will actually move for the first time in years when the new price guide is released.
I’ve got supervision, team training and online course options to help you navigate the chaos, and as a special bonus, from Monday the 9th of June, you’ll be able to access a special resource from my ‘Navigating the NDIS: A beginner’s guide for clinicians” online course. This will be something you normally have to pay for, that you’ll be able to access for free for two weeks only.
But I need your help to decide – I can’t share the whole course for free, but let me know if you want a downloadable resource, or access to one of the modules? Comment or send me a DM and let me know! Majority will win!
All you need to do is fill in the EOI and tell me about your resource, and I’ll send you the T&Cs. The key point is you need to have a resource (video, webinar, download) that you would be happy for people to freely access via the Library, and in return you’ll get your own little marketing landing page and a plug in my socials and newsletters (including this one!). PLUS this cool badge to add to your website or socials. Find out more here or send me a DM.
Do it today! All you need to do is add your name and email address via this link, then check your inbox or junk mail for the login details. If you’ve got an extra couple of minutes, you can even setup the free mobile app straight away.
I’m doing this because there are so many great OTs and other health professional out there with fantastic resources and education services, and the OT and allied health world just don’t know they exist. Spend less time searching for answers and reinventing the wheel, and more time working with your clients!
